UP Impromptu Shoot
We we’re supposed to attend a Yoga and Interval Cardio session organized by our friend. Unfortunately, it was cancelled since most of the attendees backed out. So I decided to go to U.P. instead.

What I thought would be a quick run turned out to be an impromptu photo shoot… thanks to Rowie, Maan and Archie who happen to be there too.

Using my trusty iPhone 4, I gladly obliged.

They say that the best camera is the one that is with you… I concur.

As of 3:27AM
DIY projects 60% complete.
Rachel dropped by the
Solemn and dramatic.
A much cooler version (pun intended).
This is how it looks like when closed.
And this is how it looks when opened. As you can see it has 2 sections with it’s own cover and lock. It also includes 1 long and 3 short dividers.
I was able to fit 32 AA batteries (for strobist guys, that’s 8 sets).
Aside from batteries, It can hold 2 pairs of my YN triggers.
This is also perfect for other small accessories.
Personally, I’ll be using this to contain my wireless trigger kit:
The pool scene with our audience.
Our “always-game” model, Vicky Ras
The underwater scene.
The bathroom scene.
The living room scene… while taking some detail shots of the place.
The wall clock
and the brown paper bag…. vase. Yes, as in the container where you put flowers in.
My bro and our DIY video light. It costs us not more than 400php only. Turns out, it’s also a great continuous light source for stills. Proofs are the following images. However, halogen flood lights are extremely hot.
Vicky all made up.
Clyde Manzano… the other pair of eyes during the shoot. He’s also an awesome photographer. Check out his site
Eric Cabahug, the song writer and director. (Trivia: Eric co-wrote the screenplay for the animated film Dayo)
The view from Clyde’s place.
The corridor scene. This is the final set for location 1.
The restaurant scene at Dolci Divino, Ortigas Center.
We had the whole restaurant booked for the shoot. Not! The video was shot guerrilla style.. no permits.
Kain!

Let’s focus on it’s wingtip

On flash… literally
There’s a dispute between me and my brother on who took this shot.
My first in-flight shot… very very sharp
A regular fly without the dragon.
