King Leo

This is the first time I’ve seen how a tattoo session is done up close. My brother-in-law had a Lion’s face with an old-school mic on his right leg. This is his 4th piece.

My brother had a shoot today for his friend’s original composition entitled “Paglaya”. We aim to finish editing the music video before the end of January. In the meantime, here are the rest of the stills and behind the scene shots:
The pool scene with our audience.
Our “always-game” model, Vicky Ras
The underwater scene.
The bathroom scene.
The living room scene… while taking some detail shots of the place.
Speaking of, there are 2 pieces I like about the place.
The wall clock
and the brown paper bag…. vase. Yes, as in the container where you put flowers in.
My bro and our DIY video light. It costs us not more than 400php only. Turns out, it’s also a great continuous light source for stills. Proofs are the following images. However, halogen flood lights are extremely hot.
Vicky all made up.
Clyde Manzano… the other pair of eyes during the shoot. He’s also an awesome photographer. Check out his site here
Eric Cabahug, the song writer and director. (Trivia: Eric co-wrote the screenplay for the animated film Dayo)
The view from Clyde’s place.
The corridor scene. This is the final set for location 1.
Off to location 2.
The restaurant scene at Dolci Divino, Ortigas Center.
We had the whole restaurant booked for the shoot. Not! The video was shot guerrilla style.. no permits.

It’s a wrap! Too bad Clyde is not here. We forgot to do the group shot at his place.
Here are some more photos after Ghian and Gren’s Wedding
Having some snacks before calling it a night.
Margaux looking for something more special than her Gerbers and Earth’s Bests.
Oooohhhh! This one!
Special clubhouse sandwich topped with fries.
Chillaxing at the fireplace after a nice snack.

The morning after.
Good Morning Baby!
Good Morning Taal Volcano!

Behind the scene
Group shot at the Taal Vista Lobby Cafe before getting some hot bulalo.
Gren, giving Ghian a fried tawilis
Ghian, returning the favor and giving Gren the bulalo’s buto. This is a clear example of of giving and taking in a relationship.
The day finally came when Margaux wore the cutest flower girl dress ever made.
Ta da!
A candid shot while waiting for the ceremony to start.
Margaux up close
The flower girl’s bucket
The Headdress
The little red shoes
Too bad Margaux is still too young to walk by herself. She looks cute nonetheless with Mommy.
It’s obvious you enjoyed every moment being a Flower Girl.

All together now
Someone is getting tired…
and it’s not you! ![]()
Today is Margaux’s 10th month celebration. We were supposed to get Conti’s Mango Bravo. Too bad their shop was closed for their post Christmas party. We got this cake from BreadTalk instead.

Happy Birthday Baby!
Today, I steamed myself 4 pcs 8 pcs of siomai and topped them on white rice. I was really thankful we discovered this little kiosk, Lu Chi, at Trinoma Foodcourt (the one near the supermarket) where they sell these. These are the same, if not… almost, kind being sold at The Big Little Store. You may buy these already steamed (4 pcs for 50php) or frozen packs of 24 for 200php (thats 8.33php a piece). Too bad I don’t have black gulaman right now.
Kain!
My 3AM snack dinner breakfast?… food. More saucy version of Lucky Me Pancit Canton. Quick and easy… all done in 10 minutes.
Buon Appetito!

Aside from fighting off zombies, I find plants boring… especially as macro subjects. That’s why I was really excited when this little red dragonfly showed up. This is my first macro set of an insect.
A bokeh shot
A close look
A closer look
Let’s focus on it’s wingtip
Wings up
With flash
On flash… literally
There’s a dispute between me and my brother on who took this shot.
My first in-flight shot… very very sharp
A regular fly without the dragon.
A year’s worth of photos in an 8 minute song. Not as grand as Time’s or NatGeo’s.. but, I’m proud that I can call it My Year in Photos.

As my Project 365 ended on the last day of 2010, I’ll be continuing my photo adventure here in this blog… at a non-daily fashion of course.
