See Google Maps here for the exact location.
The place is actually a collective of smaller restaurants. Our friend recommended to order from Hana and to try out their Takoyaki.
There is also a market where you can shop for imported Japanese goodies.
We decided to eat outside since we felt like having a picnic. Should you choose to eat indoors, be prepared to smell like what you ordered when you leave.
Takoyaki cooked outdoors
The Finished product

Uni Sushi
Marvie’s Bento Box
Special Hana Bento Box (500php). The set is big enough for two… just order an extra rice.

While trying to shoot a candlelight, here is what I had in mind:
Solemn and dramatic.
However, I didn’t know that the studio strobes were on and the trigger is mounted on cam. Below is the result:
A much cooler version (pun intended).
Gotta love them Japanese stores where they sell everything under one price (66, 88, 85 etc..). This time, I was able to find a perfect plastic container for some of my stuff.
This is how it looks like when closed.
And this is how it looks when opened. As you can see it has 2 sections with it’s own cover and lock. It also includes 1 long and 3 short dividers.
I was able to fit 32 AA batteries (for strobist guys, that’s 8 sets).
Aside from batteries, It can hold 2 pairs of my YN triggers.
This is also perfect for other small accessories.
Personally, I’ll be using this to contain my wireless trigger kit:
You can find this at Japan Home Center, Trinoma Ground Floor. It’s being sold for 66 pesos only. What an amazing offer!
There is no doubt that Margaux got her sweetness from her mommy, who sent me a Frui-Quet (Fruits + Bouquet)

The fruits were still fresh and cool.
It also came with a dip
We’ve always been curious on what we’ll see at the Legaspi Sunday Market. Thanks to the last minute invite by our friends, we were finally able to go there.
Here is what I’ve seen during my quick photo walk around the venue.
I was told that these were organically grown.

My Lunch. Bockwurst with cheese sandwich.
Overall, the place was great to have get-together with friends over food….
or just to have good times with the family.

Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to give your significant other a present.
Stumbled upon this book while looking for a present for my wife. This camera phone photo sums up the origin behind Margaux’s name. Yeah, my wife named our daughter after a wine estate.

If we will be blessed by another baby girl in the future, i’ll name her Minerva. Not because it’s from the Roman goddess who invented music but from the Deftones’ song.
Dear Margaux,
We cant believe that this is the final monthly celebration that we’ll be throwing out for you. Enjoy this day and the rest of the days before your 1st birthday on March.
Love,
Daddy and Mommy
