While other family restaurants provide crayons and pieces of paper to entertain their young guests, at Five Cows, they bring activity toys. Margaux enjoyed playing with it. This is surely a nice touch. We’ll definitely dine here again.
Whenever we are at Trinoma, this carousel never fails in catching Margaux’s attention. She’d always point at the carousel’s bright revolving lights and go “oooh”. Today, she finally rode it with mommy.

Curious? Here’s what happened.
While my brother and I are having lunch at Good Earth GB3, there’s this mid-eastern-looking man loudly complaining about his reservation. While I understand this customer’s point, it’s totally unnecessary to make a scene over this mistake, especially if your companions are still not around. It’s just wrong to scold the staff in public like you rented the whole place. 8 seats have already been prepared (and we’re seated on the last two.) and this douche kept on yapping.
One of the waiters hesitantly approached us as we have anticipated. He humbly asked if we can transfer to the table behind us. Seeing how the staff is getting humiliated, we readily moved to the other table.
For saving their asses, they served us another order of pork siomai and 2 servings of mango tapioca… on the house. Knowing that you have helped someone and getting free food at the same time is rather nice feeling. Karma is indeed digital now.
Surely, karma will also find its way to get back at him. I pity this fool as he will soon learn (or not) that servers are one of the people you will certainly not want to piss off. Bon appétit!

We we’re supposed to attend a Yoga and Interval Cardio session organized by our friend. Unfortunately, it was cancelled since most of the attendees backed out. So I decided to go to U.P. instead.
What I thought would be a quick run turned out to be an impromptu photo shoot… thanks to Rowie, Maan and Archie who happen to be there too.
Using my trusty iPhone 4, I gladly obliged.
They say that the best camera is the one that is with you… I concur. 
We’ve been wanting to try shooting a firearm for a long time now. Good thing JR, got a discount voucher at Stronghand. This includes a “The Proper and Practical Pistol”" lesson and 20 rounds of live firing. We also got to try this out in a nice fully air-conditioned and toxic free shooting range.
Aside from a shooting range, they also have a cafe, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. For me this is nice, especially if you have someone waiting for you.
Following the rules here can be the difference between life and death.
Firing a gun is simple. Firing a gun with safety and responsibility in mind, that is something you will learn from this seminar.

My First 5 rounds at 10 meters. The green circle is not a bulleye, it’s just a reference point. As long as all shots are in the Alpha zone, which is the center part of the target board, you are good.
Their HS9 9mm pistol. Made in Croatia.
I also tried their “de bola” .38 revolver. It’s harder to aim with this than the HS9. You can also try their .40, .45, .308 pistols and their strongest on, the .44 Magnum.
